The site layer uses the current one-row-per-Atlas-ID IM3 Open Source Data Center Atlas v2026.02.09 CONUS plus District of Columbia factor snapshot from the final numbered workflow.

How The Matched Map Was Built
Context Sources
The map combines direct ACS variables, CDC/ATSDR SVI, EPA EJScreen indicators, NOAA climate normals, EIA state electricity indicators, and U.S. Drought Monitor context from the current rebuilt datasets.
Spatial Matching
Data-center points keep their official point-derived tract, ZCTA, MSA, state, and HUC identifiers. Geography summaries use the current geography-level files; the current map exposes only metropolitan statistical area summaries at this level.
Map Summaries
For each selected level and theme, the map shows current data-center counts, total square footage, and matched geography-level context. EJScreen summaries are population-weighted block-group values for the full geography.
